Rural Montana is struggling to provide enough volunteer firefighters/EMS personnel. With full-time fire departments only being present in more-populated areas, these communities rely on local volunteer departments to be the first responders. If volunteers continue to become scarce, who will answer the call when disaster strikes?

​Who Are We?
The "Be 1 Of Us" program exists to increase awareness of the ongoing need for a crucial resource in our rural Montana communities - the number of capable and competent volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel. Through scholarships, promotions, direct recruitment, social media, and other marketing platforms, we are dedicated and passionate about spreading awareness and making a difference in local volunteer fire and EMS departments.
